DESCRIPTION:<a href="https://www.digidot.eu/event/light-lab-lumiere-closing
-event-8">Light Lab Lumiére Closing Event</a>\nLight Lab Lumière is an e
xclusive series of immersive\, hands-on workshops designed to deepen the u
nderstanding of the intricate and ever-evolving relationship between light
\, color\, and design. Curated and led in collaboration with renowned ligh
ting expert Caroline Crespin\, each session invites participants to explor
e how light shapes human perception\, influences our mood and emotions\, a
nd transforms our perception of spaces. Through guided experimentation and
open dialogue\, Light Lab Lumière fosters a deeper appreciation for the
emotional and psychological impact of light\, encouraging designers and ar
tists to see it not merely as a technical element but as a powerful expres
sive medium. The workshops aimed to spark curiosity\, inspire innovation\,
and push the boundaries of light further. This summer\, French lighting d
esigners were invited to embark on a creative adventure with Light Lab Lum
ière. Over the span of just a couple of weeks\, DiGidot has visited 7 dif
ferent studios in France: Agence On\, AURA\, Concepto\, I.C.O.N.\, Ponctue
lle\, Studio Dichro\, Wonderfulight. The sessions took place across differ
ent cities: Paris\, Toulouse and Bordeaux. The sessions achieved a harmoni
ous balance between theory and practice\, weaving together conceptual insi
ght and hands-on experimentation. Guided by Caroline\, participants first
delved into the scientific and emotional principles of light\, discovering
how pixels emit it in unique way unlike any other medium. Following that\
, designers were then invited to create pixel controlled sequences themsel
ves\, to translate their discoveries into a hands-on activity. This integr
ated approach bridged the gap between academic exploration and practical e
xperimentation\, opening new pathways for curiosity and creativity. Each o
