The story

The facades of three apartment hotel residences of MIS, located along the ring road of Paris, at the height of the Porte d'Ivry, were converted to huge light art installations. A staggering amount of 1704 T-Series Pixel Profiles from OneEightyOne were mounted around the windows which formed a combined pixel network of 77256 channels. All three facade are interconnected and form one large screen that’s not only able to display creative and artistic effects, but it’s also possible to display text content and make these facades even more communicative.

This architectural project is a mesmerizing eye catcher for the city of Paris and a great example of how the DiGidot C4 can be used to transform public space to an outstanding piece of light art.
