Light Lab Licht is a DiGidot initiative developed in collaboration with the German Chapter of International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD). A new educational and experimental platform designed for lighting designers who are interested in innovation, transformation, and hands-on exploration of digital lighting.

Light Lab Licht pushes into the raw, experimental edge of the German lighting scene – anchored in the underground culture of Berlin, where darkness, material and motion define the visual language.

Drawing on this legacy, you will get the chance to move from theory to hands-on creation, arriving at the final event not as spectators, but as artistic contributors.

Technical information

• Both webinars will be hosted online.
• The hands-on workshops will be held on-site, with DiGidot and Stephan Horn visiting each studio individually. 
• Inbetween the workshop visit and the final event, participants can request one online session with a technical specialist for extra help preparing the light object.
• The final event will be held in Berlin in the end of October.
